How to Add a Company to an eForms Data File

After opening an eForms data file you might see “NO COMPANY SELECTED” in the toolbar below the menu, indicating that you need to select a company or create a new company.

Here's how to do that:

Create a New Company

  1. Use the COMPANY > NEW COMPANY menu to open the "Add New Company" window
  2. Type the name you want to give your company
  3. Click the "OK" button to create the company and open it in the company setup window where you can enter additional data for the company; data will be saved automatically
  4. Click the "Close" button to select the new company as the current company

Select an Existing Company

  1. Use the COMPANY > SELECT COMPANY menu to select from a list of existing companies; or
  2. Click to the right of “NO COMPANY SELECTED” (if no company is selected) or “CURRENT COMPANY” (if a company is selected) and select from a list of existing companies

NOTE - Unless otherwise specified, eForms will use the current company as the default in all reports

And you're finished!
